MOF Basketball Tournaments delivers organized basketball sports for children third grade to high school levels.
MOF hosts organized basketball tournaments linking participants from different cities through basketball teams.
OUR mission is to provide recreational and educational activities for our youth, to help build their self – esteem and provide a safe haven to help them develop their basketball skills in a structured environment, and then to provide positive activities for our youth to keep them off the streets.
Tournament Rules
- Team rosters may have a maximum of 12 players.
- Players must be in current grade or up.
- Sixteen(16) minute half, running clock; clock stops on time outs, and last minute of 1st and 2nd half. First overtime will be sudden death (first to score win).
- Any defense is allowed, it is common courtesy to not press if ahead by more than 20 points.
- Three 30 second time outs per game, one in overtime, unused time outs do not carry over.
- Half time intermission will be 1 minutes.
- The three point shot is in effect.
- Bonus will be in effect on the seventh foul, super bonus on the 10th foul.
- Coaches will be responsible for their players and fans. if a coach or player receives 2 technical fouls during tournament play, he / or she will be removed from the game and will not be ablet ot play in next game.
- All other rules in accordance with the current ihsa rules.
- Girls and 4th grade boys will play with a 28.5 ball. All other grade level will use a high school regulation ball.
